I’m a product designer based in Tokyo, Japan.
My focus is on creating clean, inclusive, and easy-to-understand designs. I have over 2 years of experience in designing multi-lingual platforms for web and mobile, and am currently working with the AVC Calendar team to create an all-inclusive voiced scheduling app for children with special needs and their caretakers.
Homekuru is a housing platform showing rental and real estate information for foreigners seeking housing in Japan. I contributed to the user research and design.

A collection of landing pages and corporate homepage designs I did for Homekuru during the evolution of the product, as well as other branding projects.
Here are some of the other things I've done on the side.
I was born in China, raised in California, and I'm now based in Tokyo, Japan. I speak English, Japanese, and Chinese, and design in all 3 languages.
I studied Molecular Biology in university, but realized my real passion was designing useful things to improve peoples' lives. I believe that the best designs are functional, as well as beautiful, and I try to learn something new from everything I create. I love the challenge of displaying complicated information in a way that's easy to understand for anyone.
In my spare time, I love to draw, watch crime dramas on Netflix, and tend to the small jungle in my apartment.
